I've been 'blessed' with a horrible case of Sumac ( like poison ivy) for the Holidays.
My son... also the Hunter.... already got a deer amongst other things... brings his clothes home.. I do the wash... I GET THE POISON... unknowingly.. .. I brush it off, the first few days, as... allergy, from too much eggnog (con sailor jerry! of course)... too much dairy, or something. Low and behold, upon ceasing the overindulgence,.. the rash becomes worse.... the 'Hibbee-Gibbbeees' set in...

arms and legs looking freakish after a day or two of self treatment... I head to the clinic for some cortisone... not to be confused with MI CORAZON... jjejj... and soooooooooooo.........

I was in bed real early last night.
There is a new product called ZANFEL... on the market that is simply incredible.. for 'washing' the actual posion away and the itch be gone... along with a good coat of Calamine lotion.

Fine point: 'Caladryl'... can make this Sumac... worse! and, that's what I was using the first few days.

Nevertheless... nice Christmas Dinner yesterday con padres y hijos y una novia... AND NOW... I MUST BE A GOOD PATIENT ... .. more Zanfel... more calamine.. wash the sheets.. more cortisone... and, it's working. And so will I be... come Wednesday.

It's working well.
I had a wonderful time with the kids and parents yesterday,... in the middle of those hibbeee gibbeees...
I was trying not to 'be a nuisance' on Christmas, for those people working the clinics... but I knew I would be a complete mess without their help.. and, being very direct .. (perhaps, unlike me here on pbh) I didn't take up much of their time but did get some of their cortisone before the door slammed shut!
If the kids and parents are happy,... then I'm happy.
Oh, hell... I'm happy, even when they aren't.
Just makes it even better when ... todos con feliz!
