A local store carries fruit pulp (i.e. guanabana, lulo, etc.) which is a God send for me. I make almojabanas from scratch. Sorry, I just cannot imagine them prepackaged. Hum...how about bocadillos?

I agree with your choices! That's awesome that you make almojabanas from scratch. But don't discriminate the ones that are prepackaged they are also delicious! Try them sometime and let us know what do you think.
Yes bocadillos, coffe candy, buñuelos, pandeponos, pony malta and other are can also be found in the states.

"Good stuff Monpirri. We also buy Alpina arequipe)as well as Manjar Blanco) and Bocadillos Veleños. There are also some good flour products to be had that allow you to make great stuff like pan de yuca, almojabanas, pan de bonos, arepas etc.

We also buy frozen fruit pulp to make juices including mora, lulo, guayaba and others."
Excellent choices as well! Did you notice the cheese? I have tried it and it's real good!

Colombiana is also good. I don't know about the "copy" statement. In your opinion which one tastes better the copy or the original? Are they the same beverage? Do they taste the same? Do they have the very same name?
Do you know when the original was introduced in the market?

Johny2008 thank you for the information. I found out that COLOMBIANA does not sell "Colombiana" soft drink.
Colombiana gaseosa (soft drink) is made by Postobon. So I don't think there is a copy of the beverage and as far as the name I really don't know what to tell you.
COLOMBIANA the firm was founded in Valle de Cauda (Cali) in 1918. In 1965 began exporting to the states and currrently COLOMBIANA exports to 45 countries.

Historia
