I agree Lisa, sad that people think that his condition is because he eats too much, that boy has a problem and his condition can cause him an early death.

Well, this is the second humongous Colombian baby. I posted a while ago about the one who made it to the Guinness World Records.

listen to this....on discovery (i think) over the weekend, there was this program about a fellow in mexico who weighs--get ready--580 kilos!!! over 1200 lbs. they put him on some special diet and over 6-9 mos, he lost about 400 lbs....then, an infection set in on the huge fat deposits on his legs and then all kinds of problems set in.

it took seven men to drag him onto a scale. it would take a number of people to turn him over so he could deficate then someone had to scrub his butt. yich!

as sort of comical as the whole thing was, the reality of this fellow's life is truly sad. his over eating...taken to the nth degree got him into a nightmare that only GRACE can extricate him from. like he's this gigantic 'blob' literally piled on the bed...sort of like that disgusting glump of goo in starwars (i think). that big pile of shit that just sat there and ate.

well, this chap, 'ramon', was this this non human looking glob, literally piled on this bed-like platform. i know it sounds that i'm making jest at his expense...in truth, i'm not. but what can one say about one who shows such disrespect for his physical existence. and after near 40 yrs of abuse, decides he wants to turn the effects around? i do wish him luck. but the amount of abuse and the time involved, will be very difficult to really totally reverse.

That is such a funny video, Monpirri! I'm glad the Orangutan won! Obviously, she was glad she was the winner as well. :)
