2 year room or apartment rental required

Hello, My wife and I will be in Bogota for the next two years and are looking for a rental situation that will cost less than 600 000 per month for our bed, kitchen access and hot water shower. We are also interested in places with multiple bedrooms, provided that the cost per bedroom per month works out to about 500 000 per month. Thanks. You can email me directly if you so wish at cderekbower at yahoo.ca

Thats over a million pesos per month you will have no problem..You can probably do alittle better on price but depending what you want..Remember you will be doing a year contract so you should go on your own to the bogota newspaper and look around first..and visit some apartments or houses.

For about $1 million pesos you can get a 2 or three bedrooms apartment. It's important to narrow your location according to your preferences ( near work, residential areas, etc) to avoid wasting your time looking apartments in areas that you wouldn't like.
Searching through a real estate agency could be a plus.

In only 2 hrs of searching on foot in santa fe i found several places for 150 000 to 220 000. The most expensive was the best, a huge room with shared kitchen and bathroom. I would advise others with my inital problem to just come to santa fe and walk around to find a place. rooms are advertised in their windows. Don´t fall in a hole while looking up and walking.
