1M pesos

That's what the life of innocent Colombians are worth for the government to fatten their guerrilla casualty numbers. So they want to increase taxes to continue murdering our own. This is abhorrent. It's hard for me to believe how anybody remains faithful to this government.

But so is being able to get some asshole colombian to whack somebody for 20,000 pesos.

It is abhorrent, but you cannot attibute it to the whole goverment. You seem to have checks and balances occuring in Colombia with your supreme court and the goverment. It looks as if people are being indicted, investigated, and hopefully held accountable and it is being reported in the media who are attempting to remain free and an independent voice..

Colombia has bad people in goverment and everywhere else. Maybe thats why so many Colombians seemingly ignore Uribes alleged paramilitary connections. With Colombians violent history who were you gonna call, you obviously had to be connected with someone. I guess you pick your poison.

Even today if I have a real problem with someone, do I call the police or paramilitaries? Not all that much has changed.
I wish it was not so,

But WTF! It is Colmbia and there is no place that I now of like it.
