Hi
I have a 12 day trip to Columbia coming up in March. I fly into Bogota. My plan is to stay in Bogota for a couple of nights and then fly to Cartagena for a few nights. I'd then like to travel by bus (or possibly plane again) to Medellin and then back to Bogota.
What would the typical cost of a flight between Bogota and Cartagena and between Cartagena and Medellin be? Is the bus much cheaper? With my limited amount of time in the country, I want to see as much as possible.
Would I be advised to book flights before I leave? Where would I be able to do that?
Thanks.

When I looked online my round trip flight (with Avianca) Bogota-Cartagena was going to be around $180 USD but once I finally got around to booking it (on the phone), it ended up being around $300... but that was round trip. I'd just check out one of the domestic airline websites for more precise info regarding prices. I recommend booking online too.. seems to be cheaper than on the phone. It would be great if you knew someone there that could get it for you with their card for a better price. Around her hair she wore a yellow ribbon... 0 funny, 0 helpful. |
