1 Hr 10 Minutes between flights in MIAMI

I have a connection time from only 1 hr 10 minutes between my London Inbound - Outbound Cali flight.
I have to clear immigration in Miami i am wondering if i have enough time for that?

Good advice. Miami is one of the most inefficient airports that I have ever been in. Two hours minimum to do what you needed to do. Hell, sometimes it takes over an hour just for your baggage to show up. The lines are nearly always huge. It's a nightmare best avoided if possible.

You may make it !! But only if you are using and connecting to a flight using Avianca. They will depart at least One Hour Late! They are never and probably never will be on time! Good Luck!

One anecdote for recent flights from BOG to MIA and BOG to EWR (Newark, NJ)...time is measured from arrival at the gate (the "complete and final stop" haha), through immigration, and picking up my checked baggage from the carousel.

Miami: 1 hour and five minutes

Newark: 25 minutes

FWIW, Both arrivals were mid-week, late afternoon to early evening, no thunderstorms or snow, one traveler, U.S. citizen immigration line, using the dominant carrier for each airport (American and Continental)

Bienvenidos, Senor. The hooker thread and the bj thread. I guess I won't post my El Chiquito thread.
