Just a little unsolicited advice: Don't mess with Mede ... or anybody else in Colombia. Why ruin your vacation, and possibly get hurt or worse? I've enjoyed following your countdown to Colombia, and have shared your anticipation a little. I am not insinuating Mede would try anything ... but you never know. Life is cheap down there. If one were so inclined, a secario (sp?) is a bargain. Just because you could physically handle yourself with another guy, what makes you think a person wouldn't just have you knocked off for the equivalent of $100 USD? Probably wouldn't happen, but on the other hand, it happens all the time. I am just trying to say you do not need enemies in Colombia. Let it go.

Be sure and give us a full report after you get to Medellin. I look forward to hearing about your adventures.

Robert Jorge - Mede is a man of peace...not a killer That was my point in the first place...I was offended that this GI wanted to physically harm me because I do not conform to the same neo-con values in previous postings. I would never hide behind a screen from someone, and I imagine that his postings were just sabre-rattling.

I wish him happiness and safety during his stay in my country. If he still wants to damage me please e-mail me at falonso_1 at hotmail.com - I would be happy to meet to talk reasonably with him and convince him that people can live in the same world and have different opinions.
