¿ Es seguro llevar una cámara Canon EOS 5D a Medellín?

Aunque no soy un fotógrafo profesional, me gustaría llevar mi cámara y mis lentes durante mi visita a Medellín el próximo 7 de Agosto. El problema es que hace más de cuatro años no voy a Medallo, y no se cómo está la situación por allá. Les agradecería sobremanera, si me pudieran ayudar con esto.

I recently took my grandmother to a Mall here in Phoenix AZ.

I got a little to far ahead of her because she walks so damn slow. When I turned around two teenage punks almost had her purse before I jumped back and they ran off.

I was in Medellin for Holidays 2006-2007 and took my Canon 20D with no problems. I also took it to Cartagena, Santa Marta, and Rio Hacha with no problems. Solo ten confianza. Y pele ojo porque nunca sabes.
