This was the dumbest post I have seen yet in my exploration of useful information concerning Colombia. Wow..really...I could go on and on about how dumb it is, but how about just a complete waste of time. I don't see S. America rolling over to the US, but Britain, well, ruff ruff.

Gringo, comes from Mexico. US Soldiers invading Mexico wore green fatigues. The Mexicans wanted them to go, hence green go, i.e. gringo. Glad I could help clear that out, being a gringo married to a Colombian, I was curious if I would always be a gringo, but only if I go to Mexico.
