Claudia P comments on visa for parents

Luis you need to feel a form called I-130 petition for an alien relative .. this is for the recidency if that is what you are asking for.. I'm in the process to get a green card for my mother. You can do this on your own go to www.uscis.gov there you can find all the info that you need ... I initially had to pay 190 dollars for the aplication fee .. after that another 70 for the afidavit support fee .. and I just got one ( hope that is my last bill) for 380 dollars for the visa procesing fee . Remember that the fees are about to go up like in 2 weeks so you better file that in ASAP they are going to be almost double of what they cost righ now. By the way the entire process takes about 1 to 1 year and a half. Good Luck!!! and let me know if you need more info :)

Claudia P comments on Adoption

Yes my son is with me in the US. I just hope the process doesn't take to long .. we are going to stay in Medellin 15 days ( we are going to get married there) and we would like to use some of that time to get the process done or at least do as much as we can in those days. Thanks Robert!!!

I had my son at that clinica and it is amazing!!! best doctors and great service. If for some reason I would have to take my son to a hospital in Medellin, I will always take him there.

are you traveling alone?

Claudia P comments on Friends in Miami

Charlie I would not do the bus thing at all and less when is near to a border where all the guerrilla hides i would suggest that you spend more of $$$$$$$ but you are sure that you are going to be safe ... and this has nothing to do with the " elecciones presidenciales" it is always dangerous around those places ... so better spend more $$$ have a great time and be safe. si o no????

Claudia P comments on Safety during Colombian elections

Your trip well I will say that as long as you stay in the cities it will be safe .. and yes for sure do not take any buses to go from one city to another it will be cheaper but is more safe to do it by plane!!!
Hope you have a great time there!!!
