similar thoughts i just got back from month in medellin,,and ive never fell in love with a place so quickly and deeply,,,my life had obviously begun before columbia,,but it has been revived and made anew,,,with the spirit of medellin and thanks to all the people who showed me such love while i was there,,,medellin paisitas are the best in the world.!! and the landscapes are nice too.

rich and mean? anyone who has the perception that harley riders are rich and mean are no more well informed than the people who think that everyone in columbia is like pablo escobar,,,but if thats what you think go ahead,,,those people should visit an american style rally,just as people should visit columbia before they judge,,,and really experience it before they make assumptions,,,,hog riders are the most righteous hardworking,,and caring people i have met--most real bikers are far, fare from rich,,,or mean,,, and anyone is welcome at usa hog rallies,,,whether you ride a harley or not,,to sum it all up ,,,dont believe the hype---ride loud and live proud,,,!

paisa hogs? ive spent time in medellin,,and no freakin way i'd ride my hog round there unless i was very,very accustomed to the flow of traffic,,,they drive like maniacs in medellin,,,especially in the outskirts such as bello,,etc,,,crazy roads,,,no lanes,,no lights,,no signs,,,i imagine if i had unleashed my hog down there ,,the cops woulda been all over my ass just for the noise that it makes,and it would most likely draw more attention than a gringo really wants to have,,unless you had a gang with you,,,,,it would be nuts,,,,maybe after a long time i'd be crazy enough to go solo on their streets,,but in meanwhile it be much wiser to take cabs and leave the driving to the locals,,,hell,,its east enough to get ran over just walking around--none the less,,i had a kick ass time in columbia and plan to return soon,,,okie biker here sayin' keep the rubberside down and your face in the wind,,,hasta luego

teach english in medellin i am experienced/certified teacher of special education(mentales especial) in the US,,I am curious as to what kind of work i could get in Medellin,,,special education is high priority in US,,,is that so in Medellin?,,i recently visited for a couple weeks and i loved it,,the experience changed my life forever,and i quickly bonded with some very good people in medellin,,,i know some spanish/ learn very quickly. I was curious if the teacher's working schedules were similar to that in america? i work 188 days/year and the rest is paid vacation---thats kind of hard to beat since i value my free time greatly. any info. or websites to look into would be appreciated.,,,gracias mi amigos

gringos in medellin not sure about bogota,,but,,i spent two weeks in medellin,,mostly bello,,and i loved it,,,i could see myself living there,,although i need to learn more espanol,,,i admit its a lil crowded for my tastes,,but the people were nice and i made many good friends,,i plan to return soon.

got one i found one for about 1100 on american,,,,not bad,,if i had bought it long ago it would have been cheaper,,but thats life,,,,im decided i was goin even if it broke me,,so hope it will be worth it (sure it will be--gonna have a blast) and by the way,,thanks for the replies guys,,,
