Ciclogringo comments on ATTN: English teachers, Personal Trainers, I need some advice please

Thanks for the advice everyone:) How cool is this site that we can post questions and actually get real-time answers!

Really, thank you all for the advice. I had not thought of groups, which is a swell idea. Do you offer vocab sheets? Tests? Text's...and if so where would I find them? You know, logistics questions!

Yes motherof2, personal training in gyms for weight loss and muscle growth as well as general health. I like the idea of offering training sessions where my client and i speak only in english for the session, giving him/her the chance to practice, ask questions, etc, while getting fit. Vocab sheets and quizes, complimented by pronuciation of said vocab dubbed onto CD.

Also, if there is anyone else in Bogota who might be interested in chatting with me over such a business, contact me and we can brainstorm!

One last question. I am wicked sick right now. Why, in a place with such mild climate changes am I this freekin sick!?

Take care friends:)

Ciclogringo comments on Firearms in Colombia

How dangerous is this country? If you use the same common sense you might in Chicago or New York, you will be fine here. Avoid stomping around in the jungle alone with a big "I love the USA" shirt on! Seriously, I am a gringo who has been here for 8 months, and can only say that for a people as poor as many Colombians, and for a country with so many recources, it is a crying shame that tourism is such a non-factor on the economy here.

Cheers

Ciclogringo comments on biking in bogata

Bienvenido a Bogota As for cycling in Bogota, bring it on! This is an untapped resource for us gringos y gringas. I have been here for 8 months and have basically discovered the cycling scene the same way you are preparing to.

No you are not crazy. Well, quien sabe, pero...
Are you comming with friends? Do you have accomodations? I would be glad to help, and always enjoy new ride partners.

Saludes,
Evan
