ChristopherZZ comments on Cairo I have heard some nightmare stories of people shopping in the shopping areas in Muslim countries. In Morrocco they called the areas Medinas. I would be careful if you go shopping there.

ChristopherZZ comments on middle class The last few years I have watched housing prices go wild here in NY. About eight years ago my aunt was selling a house for $115,000 she got as an inheritance. I wanted to buy the house but I could not afford it at the time. Since that time that house has gone all the way up to $350,000. If anyone bought houses at that time they over paid and the mortgage crisis is an example of that market pricing. So if a "middle class" couple bought that house for that amount they are now married to the house. That will destroy the middle class in NY and anywhere else that over paid for the house. So my definition of middle class is a group of people that are deciding their fates. They are not the dog following its tail. We now have a lot of tail following dogs here in NY.

ChristopherZZ comments on YOUSSIF Touching story. I wish the horrors of war would end but it is human nature to kill each other. God bless that little boy.

ChristopherZZ comments on Plastic surgey what's going on? This is not just an issue for Colombia, it is a worldwide problem. When I lived in Korea it was normal to see teenage girls get plastic surgery to get slits added to their eyes. Since I left now the women get breast impalnts. heck it is happening in the US as well. I know of young girls getting breast augmentation presents for High School Graduation presents.

ChristopherZZ comments on Viagra I new a man who took viagra and high blood pressure medication. Think about what they both do and you end up with a prescribed speedball from an MD. To say the least he droppped dead one day when he got to work. His wife is left a widow and a lot of his buddies lost a good freind. Try diet and exercise.

ChristopherZZ comments on Buenos Aires 's Virtual Tour (part I) Beautiful city, seems like a lively city like New York. Probably filled with energy and life; always something to do there.

ChristopherZZ comments on The "friendly hello and goodbye" kiss When I became an Eagle Scout my teacher kissed me on the cheek and it gave me the hee be jee bees. I lived in Spain and France and they kiss so much. I felt uncomforatble in the beginning but you get used to it. When I go to functions in Manhattan and there are a lot of Italians they kiss just like they do in Spain and France. I lived in Korea and they never do that stuff but they do walk down the street holding hands. It is a sign of friendship. I never liked that, never felt comfortable. kind of invading my space. I guess it is how we were all raised.

ChristopherZZ comments on Italian mobsters in widespread decline The Italian Mobsters were replaced by "Corporate Mobsters" like Enron, World Com and let's not forget our present day Halliburton. The destruction they have done in Iraq is insidious. All these big corporations hide behind some pathetic proaganda machine created by some admen in New York City.

ChristopherZZ comments on decision decision Go to NY, the Euro will go a lot farther. Take advantage of the weak dollar. Add some days and enjoy your trip.

ChristopherZZ comments on Looking for attractive people? Don't go to Philly The Philadelphia Phillies beat my Mets, I don't think looks had anything to do with it.

ChristopherZZ comments on Colombia fan participates in Pumpkin Regatta Pretty cool. Can those pumkins hold any passengers?

|
ChristopherZZ comments on Can't beat quality of life in Scandinavia, says world ranking I cross country skied in Norway and spent some time in Oslo and Lillehammer. The people are very friendly and with all of their social programs they don't seem to have the worries other places in the world have. I mean in the USA it is a rat race every day and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

ChristopherZZ comments on Any “South Park fans? http://www.contemporaryinsanity.org/audio-video/south-parks-scientology-episode.html Check out the URL for the South Park episode about Tom Cruise, John Travolta and R Kelly. I can't say I am an expert on the show but it is eye opening.

ChristopherZZ comments on Morkedoh/Tee Lor Su Waterfall/Karen village Kohta/Ban Phalata 4 D/3 N I did a similar trip in Thailand. I went to Chang Mai and hiked in the mountains. Rode on an elephant and went down a fast moving river on a bamboo raft. It was an awesome experience. It was also cheap. I would refer everyone to go to Thailand it is a beautiful country and the people are very friendly. Thank you for bringing back some great memories.
