Clemson won their division, and their 6th straight. They are 8-3, having lost to two top seven teams, and one idiotic loss in a driving rainstorm, all 3 losses by a total of 10 points. Beat Georgia Tech in 2 weeks, and they are back in a BCS bowl, the Orange Bowl. That would be sweet, and is certainly doable. Likely will have come out of nowhere a few weeks ago, to number 15 - this week. It's good, but they were so close to being in the HUNT, for the one big game that they all strive for.

the women in Colombia tend to be a bit more temperamental than what you are used to, and most of you US guys likely thought that they were a bit temperamental in the US, but if you are serious about being with one in Colombia, get ready for another world. Well, obviously we are gettin ahead or ourselves, but that will not happen, and if Clemson finishes the season on an 8 game winning streak, that will be taken into account. The only questions for me now, are will they be able to finish the deal next week? Fun stuff, finally, after years in the desert, and how will they be next year, without CJ Spiller, likely the best player in the land? Seriously, this is the best player around. World class speed, tough as nails, natural football instincts, and a really good kid, to boot.

The body armour has gotten more sophisticated as the players in the trenches are now an average of over 100 pounds heavier than back in the 50's. kalder, if you are comparing modern football to rugby, those tough little rugby guys would be out cold in seconds against these leading edge athletes. Clemson is now number 18. Win next week, and the next, they will likely end up in the top 10. lose, and I won't be around for awhile, ok?

Increased suicides? Obama is trying to get us out of these wars, not further into them, particularly the one in Iraq, but also he is trying to decide, reasonably, on the one in Afghanistan. We can't just pull out of those, but we need to work towards getting out. That previous administration has left us in a quagmire, in so many ways, but we can get through this, with some reason, and patience.

ok, I was trying to be politically correct, for a change. Clemson is as good as or better than Florida. I saw the Gators struggle again tonight, against South Carolina, a team Clemson beats handily 4 out of 5 times. In fact, we are searching for another chief rival.

you know how college football is. At this point, I would not recommend the other tigers take on the real tigers, but that momentum factor changes so fast, at this level, and with kids at these young ages. Seriously, except for de Gators, de Tide, and de Longhorns, I would pit Clemson against anyone, and I have been following this so closely that my day job has taken a hit.

Clemson's magic number is now 1, as in, we win our last one, or Boston College loses one of their last 2. No guarantee, but the odds look good now. Good to see a return to winning Clemson football, faster than expected with the new hyper coach, and the basketball team should be very strong. We will gladly take on anyone from the SEC, at this point, would likely beat them all, somewhat easily, except for maybe a couple of tough tussles with Bama and Florda, but likely, no problem there, in the end.

I thought she did well, but was hoping for a bit more, but she only had a few minutes of talk time, so it was better than nothing. I am not sure the people in the US, the ones who do not know Colombia, had any change of their perception of Colombia as anything more than a dangerous little poverty stricken country. I am always hoping, when these rare opportunities allow, that something, or somebody, can actually help in changing that image, somewhat.

Losers attract losers, wherever they go. Nothing changes because someone tries to fantasize a totally different outcome in a different place. Having said that, if one is a decent and decent looking guy, from the US, he might could do better in Colombia, as far as finding a keeper, but it will involve much more than a quick trip or two. He will have to get to know the culture, the language, the woman, her family, and spend alot of time there, and then, yeah, there are possibly better possibilities than in the US. Forget doing it quick, on a dime. That very seldom works, and will cost the guy who chooses to do that alot of cash and heartache, most of the time.

I hate nothing about Colombia. There are a few annoyances, as mentioned, but overall, I love the place, and they are on the leading edge of being something so much more. There are so many wonderful things about that country, but ok, I guess they could lose their being so defensive about their image problem in the world. I guess I could do better on that, as far as my own worries over others' opinions of me.
