valor administracion

OK, I just bought a one-way ticket to Bogota- will be moving in late December to start a new job and a new life. It's early yet, but I've been checking out metrocuadrado.com to get an idea of the availability of apartments. In all the ads the price of the rent is stated, and below that is listed the "valor administracion." I can't figure out what that means. Is it a one-time broker's fee, or a maintenance fee that is paid every month along with the rent? Thanks for your help. ...

shipping a car to Bogota from the US

Anyone have experience with this? I might be moving to Bogota next year, and am wondering what to do with my car. Is it worth it to ship a vehicle (from Miami) or will it cost as much as buying a new car in Colombia? I know I can get around Bogota pretty easily with public transportation, but it would still be nice to have a vehicle for domestic travel. Thanks in advance for any advice. ...
