Recent trip to Medellin, RioNegro, San Andres

Haven't posted for awhile, just planning my trip to Medellin to visit my son's father, friends, and family. Just returned last week and had a great time, what a different city than i remember in the 80's. How long can someone stay with a visa? I have to get new passports for my child and myself as I did not renew them.

Future visit to Medellin

Has anyone recently visited Medellin and has any comments? I lived in Medellin for a couple of years during the 80's and am returning with my child who was born there. I want him to see the country and city where he was born and to visit his father. I am filled with excitment but also some concerns traveling to a country I have not seen in years. I remember Colombia as a beautiful country with friendly people, can't wait to have my child eat an arepa con queso, not made by myself. ...
