i have been here 3 months and have same aspiration for filming but i have not yet found a good idea to do it on. I guess what i was intending to do was a documentary. Its just difficult to get an original idea.
one of the things i really miss is my computer which i used for editing and animation.
i suggest get a job first and then try to spend as much time outside of the house. Motivation will eventually come by.

thanks for the advice. I guess this will really test the relationship. But will i be able to survive in colombia. I began work on last saturday but next month my visa expires again. dont know what to do really. I was initially gonna to try to get the working visa through my mother in law{s company but i think that is out of the question now. Is it too late to try and find a contact from a company? Does it matter what kind of company it is or if it has to do with my profesion?

Wasn{t expectin to find other people in the same situation but it makes me feel more at peace to know that i am not the only one.

Is it possible to change this negative experience of colombia to a positive one?

no problem i took a bus recently from Maicao to Barranquilla and it was no problem. took 6 hours and $22000 pesos.
I think it cost me more to get my exit and entry on the same day at the border.
I think you should do it during the day.
you get to see the journey from a bus window and see some interesting things.
