The temporal visa does allow you to run a business and was easy to get but what are the benefits of the Business visa over the Temporal visa?

The first leg of the Australia - Uruguay match will be played on Saturday night.
There has been discussion over the past few months in regards to this game had Colombia made it and how competitive Australia would be. Therefore I thought it might be relevent as Ive talked Australias hopes up a bit and so this could be a chance for people to make me eat my words.

What the hell is going on?
Its less than 3 hours till the biggest football game for Colombia in 4 years and not a word of it on the webpage.
For those that know nothing of whats going on Colombia must win against Paraguay to make the world cup reparchage against Australia.
Even if they do win a Uruguay win against Argentina would still see them miss out.
A draw could be enough if Uruguay lose and Chile don't win against Ecuador.

What really pisses me off is the same people constantly giving bad travel advice to foriegners wanting to travel around the country. This results in 2 things.
1. less people coming to visit this beautiful country because they have been misinformed on travel possibilities
2. It makes the place more dangerous for first time travellers.
Im sick of posters saying that bus travel is to dangerous when no foriegner has been involved in a bus incident in 5 years and ...

There is a Clinton post already running in the friendly thread but I was wondering if we could have one concerntrating on Colombia.
What would the future hold for Colombia if Hilary Clinton became the next President? ...
I was wondering if anyone could educate me on any Colombian Inventions?
I know not to much weight should be put on this competition but Im sure a few of us will be following it as we all like to see Colombia win things. (while others enjoy watching us lose so they can have another topic to bag Colombia on)
And they have got off to a great start knocking off Italy. Its predicted that Italy and Colombia would be the two teams from Group E to go through so this should line them up for a group win with Syria and Canada making up the group.

Thought Id share my experience of the game against Peru yesterday.
Headed to the one bar in town with a big screen projector setup. very popular place for karoake but today it was all about the football.
I wondered in at the 2 minute mark and got a cheer from the boys in the front row.
They love seeing the gringo wearing his Colombian football top.
"Colombiano o Australiano" they shout and I kiss the badge on my chest which gets a bigger cheer ...
Former Atletico Nacional player Lucio Espana has been shot dead in Colombia.
The 33-year-old, who helped Atletico win the national championship in 1999, was gunned down by two men who were reportedly trying to rob him.
His death is the latest in a line of shooting incidents involving footballers in the country.
Former national team striker Albeiro Usuriaga was killed in Cali in February 2003, and his team-mates Andres Escobar and Felipe Perez were ...
Visited Pamplona last week. Not the most beautiful of towns but the people were very friendly and know how to party.
If you do visit make the trip to Pamplonita or even better stay there. Its a lot warmer there is some nice spots on the river to swim and its surrounded by beautiful mountains.

We´ve had discussions on the usage of Coke in Colombia but I was wondering about the usage of heroin. From what Ive heard Colombia has only started producing this recently.
Ive seen some usage but not as much as coke. Is this drug getting more popular?
Is there areas in Colombia where it is more popular.
Ive noticed it being smoked more than injected here. Is Heroin becoming a serious problem in Colombia? ...

We all know that the beer, food, transport, accomodation etc is cheap but what are some of the more unique deals you find in Colombia that you just don't get at home?
My favourite is rather than pay $2 every 15 mins at the local laundromat here in Colombia I can make a call and a guy arrives on a motorbike with a washing machine strapped to the back. He leaves it at your house for 1,000 pesos an hour. Great Deal. ...
Its time for me to take a holiday and was thinking of heading from San Gil through Pamplona to visit friends, then hiking in Cocuy before getting over to Merida to do some Rafting and kayaking (yes Venezuala, booo hisss).
I have friends in most of these areas so I don´t need to much advice on them.
My question is does anyone know any other places of interest on this road that my friends might not have thought me interested in. ...
Vanman in a recent post you complained that to many people wrote posts painting Colombia in a Rosy light, to many Rosy stories.
This is because for many people living here, Colombia is a Rosy experience. Im an Australian but have decided to live here because for me life in Colombia is rosier than that at home. I live in a smallish town here called San Gil, I feel safe here, I have not had bad experiences so when some of us are writing rosy posts its because this is our experience ...
I thought that a basic survey done by travellers and Colombians of what to see and do in Colombia might be a useful addition to the "preparing for your trip" PBH guide. Also it will help those who post the weekly email about what to do in a month in Colombia. I hope this hasn't been done before, tell me to PO if it has. If anyone wants to add questions please private message me and I will make a 2nd or revised survey. Ive left out Q´s related to best bars, women and restaurants as there are a l ...
Im interested in the disease Leishmaniasis and was wondering if any travellers had contacted the disease in Colombia. It is contracted by a sandfly bite and results in parasites in your bloodstream causing your skin to ulcer and in bad cases your stomach, liver, nose etc. It can also be fatal if not treated.
I was wondering if anyone could also help me on the rumour that the Uribe government refuse treatment for the disease to those in rural communities. The rumour I heard was bec ...
Roofus thanks for reminding me with your post on leaving your camera behind in the Taxi and getting it back. Twice i have left my wallet behind on the bus only for those nasty colombians to chase me down the street yelling at me, trying to give it back.
I couldn't get robbed here if i tried, (actually i could,) but the point is that many poor people here will hand back your wallet before even thinking of dipping their dirty, dangerous, stealing, violent colombian fingers into and ...
From reading some of the comments on this website you would think that there are very few backpackers in Colombia and that its a regular occurance for them to get kidnapped or robbed. I hear alot of comments from colombians on whats happened to their family or stories about people working for major companies going missing but what about the everyday backpacker.
At any one time I would say there is roughly 100 backpackers in the hostels in Bogota, 100 in Sta Marta, 100 in Cartegen ...
