Here is an interesting tid bit...
My Colombiana wife and I managed a tourist visa for Canada and prepared to purchase tickets to fly to Calgary.The most economical tickets were Medellin-Bogota-Houston-Calgary. Excellent price so all was looking good. We arranged to buy the tickets and found out through the Travel Agent that the the Good old US of A changed the requirment for anyone passing through the US to be required to hold a US tourist visa even if you are just connecting and ...
Would someone that has had discussion with the Colombian Consulate in Toronto please help me to understand what the Statement of birth Is if it is not the birth certificate and what the marriage notice is?

Just beginning to gain the frustration of paperwork to gain the temporary special visa for marriage.... I am wondering if you could pass along a bit of information to me with regard to the Satement of Birth document and the Notice of Marriage document.
Is the statement of Birth not a Birth Certificate? and If one has never been married where is one to go for a notice of marriage document? Where do I go to get these documents?

I am a Canadian looking to relocate to Medellin for personal reasons (to be with my sweetie) and I am interested in gaining information from those who have gone before me as to what I need to do to find employment and or have a business in Medellin...
