Questions about the visa process
I'm going to have a church wedding and it is my understanding that I will take the church document (wedding certificate) to a notory to have it recorded or notorized.
I'm not sure what the process is here. I'm guessing that the notory will provide some thing official to prove I'm married for INS purposes or can I just use the church document.

Final approval for Catholic Wedding
I got final approval from the bishop in Cali to have my wedding in the Catholic Church. Although every priest that I talked to in the states said that I would need an annualment to get marrry in the Catholic Church.

I didn't think any of the photos of my first trips to Colombia had survied.
My first caleña wife went though everything I owned when she got here and I thought she had gotten rid of every single photo and love letter that I ever owned.
But, it looks like she missed a few. So I scanned them in and posted them. They aren't very good photos but what the hell, they are tne best photos of calipro that you will ever see.

Student Visa
I went the the Universidad Javeriana (in Cali) today to enroll. There is no problem enrolling in the University as a foriegner but they told me that most students are only getting a student visa for six months and then they have to leave the country to get an extension. Plus I will have to pay for one semester up front before I even get the visa. I have to pay before they will make the paper work I need to even try and get a student visa.

Well in case some of you guys haven't noticed. Colombianos that have anything going for them are on average better dressed and better groomed than their american counter parts. Yes it is true, colombianos regularly get manicures and a lot of them wear clear nail polish on their nails.
