Para no llorar no dejo que nadie entre conmigo al Aeropuerto, y les digo que vengo de paseo por, (esta vez), 6 meses. Despues de 4 interrumpidos meses en Colombia (Bogota y Pereira) siento que no he aterrizado todavia. Solo el pensar que estoy aqui de vacaciones (muy largas) me hace sentir mejor.

I'm here, but I'm not participating like before, because I have more important things to do than just stay here reading bad things about OUR country. And it's very difficult for me to be in New York City, alone and reinventing my life each time something goes in different direction and in english, and reading negative comments about one of my loves. Colombia, the Pure Colombia.
For bad things read the newspapers.
I don't.
I know the Good Colombia, the beautiful Colombia and I love my people, my friends and my country. I'm in NYC discovering more world, because I have the entire time and life just for myself, I'm reading more about this magnificent city, that has to much to enjoy and is offering me the opportunity to live in a very nice way, and gives me the chance to decide what I really want to do next, or where I want to end my days. The difficult part is the language, but I can get over it.

health care insurance in New York City cost around $300.00 a month. and 800.00 salary per week. Are you able to pay for it? this is a very ridiculous way to show money. If you do not have time for your children, do not have them. If you do not have enough money to hire somebody from USA, work from home, and take care of your children yourself.

Nanny in Colombia o United States? When I was married I had a housekeeper and I was the one to take care of my son. It was the best thing for me to do. She was helping me to have better time to enjoy it with my son. Then I got divorced, and didn't want to have a nanny.
And here in New York, I see how some people try to make a living working as a nannies, they charge $800.00 a week and do not teach Spanish; for that you need a teacher. Or pay extra. ($35.00 per hour).
COOK? it's not the nanny's job.
I saw also a colombian lady, that was an SLAVE, working 16 hours a day, and she was receiving $2 or 3 dollars per hour. That is not nice. Just because she is poor and in need to help her family from Colombia??? Thank god she won the case. And now she is a free lady. Plus the children in United States are very different than the Colombian children. We teach them more respect. Thank you.

San Andrés? In Colombia we have two different names Andrés (masculine) Andrea (feminine). Then if you are referring to the Island, the correct name is San Andrés.
And about the easy way to get married, that is good. The difficulty here it's to have a long, long and happy marriage. Jejeje. Everything is about the marriage and not the wedding. jajaja
