CLONCOM I have had good luck with www.cloncom.com . They have several plans. I use the one with 1 minute rounding and no maintence. I usually get the $10 card. They do hit you with an extra .50 for the card because it is less than $20. It's about 4cents or a little more to call Cali. One thing I like about them is that you pay for the card, they check it for being good and send you the pins. On some other ones that I tried they said we will call you within 5 to 20 minutes to authorize you and then you sit there and are still waiting (at least this is what happened to me) more than 40 minutes and no one calls you.
I am happy with 4cents or so a minute. Hell the cheapest rate I can get for calling within the states is 5 cents a minute with a Walmart calling card.

Continental Flight From Houston Within the last week I have had a travel agent check and verify a flight for me from Atlanta to Cali for July 20 thru Houston. I have also gone to the Continental website myself and it also shows flights from Houston to Cali. Seems like if there was a problem then the website wouldn't show flights available and travel agencys wouldn't believe those flights were available. bob

Age Factor For a man (an older man) it has a lot to do with getting a younger pretty woman. When I was 49 I married an 18 yr. old in Panama. That lasted about 7 years and I felt like I had won the lottery. Now, at age 63, I can't even get a response from an early 50's american women on Yahoo Personals. Of course a ticket to the United States is a big incentive to a Colombian women , I would think.

Bob Thanks to everyone for advice. It sounds like the Direct Consular Filing is the way to go for me. From what I read on site for US Embassy in Bogota it looks like you have to stay 6 months to be considered a resident. Bob

Bob I can't believe that you can't start your k3/k4 visa work at the us embassy in Bogota. Is this a sometimes you can and sometimes you can't deal. My plan at this 5 minutes is to go down to Cali, get married then go with my wife to US Embassy in Bogota and start the k3/k4 process. Then I would stay in Cali for 60 days, take my return trip back to Georgia, stay there for 30 days, then repeat the process i.e. 60 days in Cali, 30 days in Georgia etc. until the k3/k4 visas are granted. I am retired so I have time for this plan. Bob
