bradk comments on Just I hear ya. Two weeks in one of the best areas of Villavicencio I was inside a house and heard a shooting. One dead one seriously wounded. In broad daylight. Reminded me that I was in Colombia.

bradk comments on Had the same problem. Over the internet using an American credit card price is at least double. Went down in person price about 30.000 higer than the internet. But still got a great fare. So no huge complaints. However its bs. that their are two prices. Glad I am in Colombia. They just had a huge promotion that was supposed to end yesterday. Aires had an even better promotion that ended Thursday.

Also do you have any recommendations for a guide. Will be there 3 days. Do they have boot rentals for the rainforests? Definately different then the normal places that I travel too. Planning the trip for my brother and some frineds from the US so just want to make sure its a fun trip for all. What would you recommend for the 3 days. Figured one day in the rain forest. Possibly Monkey Island. Going to Brazil. Not really sure what else. What is a good price for a guide? Thanks so much
