I agree with what you are saying , Shaz. I certainly do not agree when they put down another culture or race of women over it or group them together in a negative way. On the other hand, gringas have been put up on a pedestal as a standard of beauty and desire for the longest time. Society and the media with their portrayals of standard beauty in this country try to make ethnic women feel bad about their appearance. So what if a few guys have preferences elsewhere and find another type of woman outside of gringas attractive.

Lack of Culture Don't feel bad if others think you are someone you are not. I find that the majority of Americans cannot tell the differences between the Latin cultures. I am Puerto Rican and I get called a little bit of everything. I used to get mad like you, but I began to educate them on the differences. Most people are receptive. There is hardly any need for culture bashing. No one is better than the other, we are just different.

Move on If you have to convince her that you will be faithful and she is clutching on to her stereotypes dump her. You will only have more problems along the same nature and worse in the long run.

tsk tsk tsk Sometimes innocent sheltered lives make people appear to be immature. She was not fortunate enough to be exposed to the adult problems that most of our youths are facing here in the United States. I am not excusing her stupid actions by any means. If she was woman enough to get knocked up she needs to take care of it one way or another and plan on the man not being in the picture. Stupid women have not learned yet that the quickest way to get rid of a man is to say I am pregnate. She can easily be replaced with another Colombiana who doesn't have her present issues.

Tired of the bashing I am tired of reading about who is better, who has more money and who is more cultured. Every culture and country has corruption, ignorance and problems. The desire to put others down to make yourself look better is a negative aspect of human nature. What I find comical about this is that most of the men here doing culture bashing are hot for foreign women who come from an “inferior” culture. So what does that say??
