Small town that is the starting point for trips to the incredibly beautiful Salar de Uyuni, lakes and volcanoes in this area. There are loads of companies offering these tours, shop around, but don't go for the cheapest option either.

Peter (Moderator) (Trustee board) (Dev team) (☼Travelguide writer) says on Jun 8, 2008, 23:07: The train cemetary is worth the visit. As for getting a tour operator, shop around and not just for price, there are lotsa operators just trying to make a quick buck. Once they have your cash that's it. Poor but snappy 0 funny, 0 helpful. |
