Relaxed small town in the lowlands, good starting place for trips to the surrounding area. The city centre is colonial and relaxed, the surrounding areas of town are more modern and bustling with activity.

Nice hostel that has rooms around a pretty patio with hammocks where a toucan lives. Dorm rooms are about 5 US$, there are also singles and doubles.
