This island in the Lake Titicaca is the site of the creation myth of the Incas. You can visit Fuente del Inca, a spring that has Inca steps leading up to it from the water.
Closeby is another island, Isla de la Luna (island of the moon), which you can also visit.
There are lots of little hostels, restaurants and travelers here - it's easy enough to just arrive and look for a place to stay. It's also very easy to camp.
