In this part of the country exist an old Asian settlement since the 40's we are a very close community are traditionally well know and well adapted to the Colombian culture. You will find that Colombian people is very warm and they will be always welling to help you with a smile, do not be afraid nobody will discriminate you because of you looks, but be prepare because they will call you CHINO (chinese in Spanish), it is not discriminatory term, they just want to be nice with you : ) have fun and enjoy your trip.
