On trips when i have a shitload of food and alcohol, the baggers will pack the stuff, take the cart out of the store, locate a taxi for me while standing in that fokin Ctg heat, humidity, and even rain, then place all the items into the taxi for me. sometimes that will take 10-15 minutes depending on the time of day Good for You Miguel that tip is well deserved

At restaurants I always pay the 10% service charge and bill with a credit card. Then i put the rest (TIP) in CASH in the Server's Hand. Makopp5- Good point on Corral and MC. Baggage guys at the airport ALWAYS have an attitude no matter what city you are in. Don't use them. Taxi- nope Hotel maids- Yes but not as much as Brians.

That kind of blows the world cup final out of the water. But probably not fair with the whole country of China asked to watch.

turnmeon- Lets first start off by saying that I agree with you the World Cup has more people watching then the Olympics. but i am calling BUllsh*t on this stat you posted The cumulative audience of all matches of the 2006 World Cup is estimated to be 26.29 billion" Please. 7.7 million tickets will be sold for the London Olympics, far more than for the games for the World Cup in 2010. USA TV rights for the 2012 are over $1.3 billion. Surpassing or roughly equaling the Euro rights of 2010 World Cup games. CNBC stated they thought the economic impact for the 2008 China games was over $5b don't know if that is true. Also stated that the Corp sponsors are the greatest for the Olympics. Once again don't know if it is true. I enjoy the World Cup more but i still think the Olympics is a greater /important event for a country.

TV revenue is much greater for the Olympics as US rights are huge. But actual eyeballs go by far to World Cup Also Brazil is having the World Cup in 2014. So at least the Olympic stadium will be on built on time.LOL Economic factor once again goes to the Olympics. Many more events etc. Big Win for RIO, no impact for Colombia IMO. Sorry Simon.
