bilingual schools for kids in santa marta...expensive?!

hey, anyone know any schools for kids round rodedero? i was talking with some folks there who have there kids in a small bilingual school that cost $250(DOLLARS) a month plus a one time "donation" fee of $2500.00 !! even by U.S.prices this seems a little bit expensive to me.... ...

moving to santa marta,any expat advice for a few questions
