Beef27 comments on Defendant gets death in rape, slaying of Colombian teen i like how they used to do it back in the day...... when the people took care of the business. anyway, as a Catholic myself, I am kind of against the death penalty but moreso because I think that person should spend a life of penance in misery. Now to me, that would be justice!!! Why end his pain on earth with what he has done? put him in a jail cell with lifers who will gangbang him and make them their slave. The family members have to suffer with their loss until they pass, so should that guy.

I'm more of a fighter myself, being a former Marine and currently Personal Security detail member in Afghanistan for diplomats. However, I am trained in living too and to judge the situation as such. Shit, your pride might hurt for awhile, but it ain't worth all the material things and money you have on yourself at that moment....and I consider myself a pretty tough guy still!! I'll just be a living one to enjoy another day, instead of dead. Still have my pride too, since I'll be a Marine 'til I do die. peace

Beef27 comments on thief picks wrong victim cayita is the most controversial person on this site. i just don't get her. i see there is an undertone to her message that is positive, but the lady does not go about it in the right way. her first response was totally negative, and instead of stating..."hey, you guys this is a lucky guy as most people know you can and more than likely get stabbed or shot", she just goes off about gringo this and that. for someone that is not anti-gringo, in all of your posts, i have yet to see a positive thing towards gringos. i do have to say, you do make sense in your statements, but in a very negative way. You cannot generalize every "gringo" or should never do that with any culture as in this case saying tipping is flashing money. I have yet to go to Colombia, and am glad I read this post. I will know not to overtip, but how much is overtipping? what percentage do you pay in services? So say an ignorant gringo like me went to Colombia, and payed the standard 15-20% on a good service tip? This would be an insult? So what about that Colombian who comes to the USA, goes out and eats and receives good service, and tips $2 on a $45 meal? Would that be an insult? I think it is just ignorance until that person would learn this is how it is done in this country. Hell, I'm glad to tip less. More money for me to spend on other things! Plus, nor do I want prices going up on stuff just because ignorant people such as myself would be overtipping....not insulting Cayita. You're looking to deep I think. peace

Beef27 comments on Ban on coca products in Colombia follows Coca-Cola complaints man it makes me sick that US companies are getting into other countries business like this. And I am an American and never used any drug in my life. These people have a legitimate use and history with this natural drug/remedy or whatever you may call it. They shouldn't be told what do with it because Coca Cola has no right. I'm sick of this crap that my government keeps getting into others peoples biz. I feel that if someone wants to do coke, and gets addicted, it's their problem and they have to pay for it. At most, control it and have a regulated amount to be grown annually and keep within those boundaries. Also, if they are drug addicts of any kind, they should have to pay for it out of pocket and any help should not be covered under health insurance. Everybody nowadays knows the negatives of using drugs, so it should be there ass paying. I should run for president man. Next, get out of Iraq and take care of my boys (I am a former Marine). Let the Islamic terrorist kill each other off. Then put up our borders and stop giving aid to all these other countries who are now against us. I consider Colombia a friend of the US, but the likes of France and others who only have cared for themselves, they get no support from me as President. ok, that was a bit off topic. peace

I tried several ways to do it cheapest and this was by far the most cost efficient and actually the better flight schedule too. thanks!

I've thought about doing it in the states mainly, and it came across that colombia probably has a need for it too, however I did realize it wouldn't pay much and would be a flooded job market already. Plus I would have many obstacles to overcome being a non colombian citizen and all. I just have many thoughts about what to do with all this money I am saving for a future business endeavor. beef27

I absolutely know I am not bulletproof and am not thinking I am Rambo. I for one am actually living in the reality of shit people see on tv and have personal friends that have been killed, shot, ied'd, or nearly hit. so, hopefully that explains my comment in more detail because it seems you misinterpreted it a bit. other than that, you gave me some sound and friendly advice which I thankyou for. and for the others on why not wanting a prepago....well I am understanding a prepago as a prostitute mostly? if this is correct, I don't want to be having sex with a girl that might have had another guys d*ck in her hours or even a day or two before without a condom where that guy is all he does is have sex with prostitutes all the time. kinda scares me and grosses me out a bit. but to each his own like i say. unless i am wrong about what a prepago is? i would just rather find a normal girl and have no reservations about getting as freaky as I want with her and feeling more comfortable about the whole situation. i mean, could you "go down" on a prepago without worrying? peace....beef27

Well, when people ask if I shave because I'm losing my hair, i tell them I'm not losing my hair....it's just growing on my back now! LOL. Been shaving for the last 10 years and usually get complimented on it though. I shave just about everything as being a fitness buff and for some reason have a disgust for it now...like it's dirty?! Kind of weird i guess but i'm very particular about my appearance and hygiene. Coffee Beaner, was pondering opening a Private security company there but that will be in due time as I save my money currently working out here in Assghanistan. Are you in Colombia by the way? I actually was looking into buying an apartment in S. America where it is less expensive, and because I have always liked the culture and way of life and family values there. and of course, the women are extremely beautiful. I narrowed it down to a few places, and because of the weather, I think Medellin is my spot. I work in Afghanistan and get 3 weeks vacation every 9 weeks, so I would like to spend it somewhere nice that is inexpensive and keeps me out of the US for tax purposes. I am learning spanish little by little, and I know I can pick it up fairly quick because I lived in Mexico for 15 months and never took a lesson and did well there. However, that was almost 10 years ago. So I need a brush up and some formal lessons too. Oh, and by the way, I'm world traveled and not a pasty white gringo....got a tan, fit and former US Marine and personal trainer. I know about security, as it is my current job protecting people, so that I am not worried about. You guys have been extremely helpful. thanks! Beef27

I'm gonna hit the bars/clubs and have a few drinks because I don't get that out here in muslim country. plus i like to dance, but not so good with salsa/merengue but pretty good with hip hop and some raggeaton. not looking for a relationship as it will be a vacation, but also not against it. i really am checking it out because i might buy a vacation apartment there and i like the climate and heard many good things besides the women. so if no girl this time, i'm sure at some point i'll meet a nice hot colombiana. i'll let ya'll know how it pans out if anyone cares about a gringo's solo trip to medellin. thanks again....beef

Beef27 comments on Avoiding prepagos and meeting only "real" colombianas thanks for the honest comments what i think my best bet would be to go sightseeing in the day and hopefully bump into a nice paisa and invite her out for a night on the town. after spending 6 months straight in Assghanistan, I really do want to go out and party a bit in the clubs...but I don't want to be wasting time on some girl who just had some gross dude in her earlier that day. i could be way off, and if a prepago is not the same as a working girl but just a girl trying to make it, then that's a little different. i'm just really turned off by the working girl and actually feel sad for them. but to each his own if they want that. i'm not one to judge...just not for me. thanks all!
