Great pic/avatar..I like your positive and level headed contributions to PBH......Is that a Cello you play? (sp?). Baroque or Classical or.....? I prefer Baroque.... so relaxing. (my mother was a Pianist in her days BTW)

Thank you Kitty :) Yes, it's a cello! I've beeen doing this professionally for almost 30 years and there is very little I haven't done at least once. Commercials for cigarettes in both Hong Kong and Venezuela, as well as Oscar Mayer and PDVSA in Caracas. Pop music all the way from live disco shows in Hong Kong to an amazingly diverse bunch of bona fide superstars, entertaining lesser knowns and well known people who were disappointments, here in Birmingham. I have played all kinds of classical music under all kinds of conditions on three continents. I have my likes and dislikes, good memories and not so good, but there are enough different aspects of performing, both artistically speaking and as a craft, that there's usually not an excuse for not having fun, and I try to make that my goal.

Sounds like you have quite a good time with the music. I'm (sort of) starting to teach myself to play the Viola. So far, I don't know much. I'm hoping to learn more when I return home.

God Bless America!
