Having read through the old post from a few year back, I recall that a few people swear by regular ol' USPS mail (Clavo?) and other have horror stories related to it. Has the regular postage in Colombia improved at all, or is it as bad as ever? And if one were to send a package, does it improve the odds of it actually arriving at its destination by sending it Express or Priority Mail, or is 1st class mail good enough? ...

I passed through the airport in January and remember having to take a bus from Mexicana to Avianca domestic...is that true for all airlines? And how quick is it? I also remember it being a somewhat long ride.

I am moving to Medellin or Cali next week for the next 6 months and want to go to university there. I already have been going to university here in the states but am a few credits shy of my bachelors. Any advice as to which school I should try to get into and how likely it would be for me to get in a few weeks before classes start?
