Yes, you are right, direct buses to villa de leyva are leaving the terminal at 6 am and 3 pm, so take a taxi to the north terminal (Exito de la 170) and take the bus to Tunja. It is about 18.000 COP. In the Tunja terminal you can take a small bus wich is $ 5.500 COP.

angelitabogota comments on Atraco Surge? Bus Hold Ups in Bogota Don´t sit in the chair next to the door. 2 months ago, a guy robbed my bf and took his cel phone, hurting him with a knife in his arm. Nobody helped him and he lost a lot of blood. When he got out of the bus and took a taxi to the cruz roja, the taxi driver asked him to get out 'cause he was ruining the seats with his blood! that asshole finally took him to the hospital after my bf had to pay him more for the ride. Now, after a surgery, my bf is going to therapy as he can not move his fingers well.

He will not have job here for some time and I will support him economically while I can get him a job as a teacher or something like that. He will come with no money, but at least with no debts. And what I can say is that when you really love a person, money is second.

One can not generalize saying that all the women here that are interested in getting married to an american man are looking to solve their economical problems. There are still women who really prefer foreing men because most of them appreciate the values and way to see life of many latinas.

angelitabogota comments on Buca to Bogota WorldEditor bonito, Bucaramanga is about 7 hours from Bogota. It is about 50,000 pesos in nice and confortable-air conditioned, big buses. The companies that I should recommend are Berlinas or Copetran, that leave every 2 hours from Bogota. To travel by bus is safe. You can take with you one big bag or two that go in the storage and one hand bag that you place over you like in a plane. ;)

angelitabogota comments on Buca to Bogota If you are traveling in your car, you could also stop in Villa de Leyva. Nice place to see. It is all colonial arquitecture, and the streets are covered with big stones. The main square is the biggest in South america.

angelitabogota comments on Buca to Bogota I should recommend San Gil. It is about 2 hours after leaving Bucaramanga. You can see the gallineal park which is beautiful and also practice rafting on the Fonce river. A PBH member owns a hotel there, I guess it is called macondo hostel, it looks nice and not expensive. The weather in San Gil is just perfect, and the town has nice views (there are 2 streets uphill from where you can see the whole town) it is amazing. Have you been to the Panachi park? it would be a nice stop too.

There are still good people. In my case, I am going to marry an american who is going to move to Bogota with me. And he is not rich. In fact I will support him economically while he gets a job here. I am sure there are many good women in Colombia. Good luck.
