Previous to today's game, Panama defeated Colombia (3 to 2 I think). Estados Unidos defeated rather suddenly Honduras...the game is O N right now & the Panameño arquero keeps amazing us all ;-) He man has stopped THREE attempted goals against Panama.

Hope everyone is getting along just fine :)

The nightclubs/bars dress codes in Cali & Bogota were pretty casual; jeans & long sleeves, etc although there's one place where dress slacks were preferred not required in some club in Cali. Mexico has so much to offer in terms of its generally welcoming humble people, places, way of living & other elements that many other Hispanos can assimilate to. Will be in Bogota for a few days on my way cali cielito lindo. It seems the central area of Bogota is where most touristic spots are within "walking-distance". Can anyone recommend whether staying in the northern section for a 3-4 days is a better choice? Thanks!

Hope all is well.

I've been told salsa music is what they play the most in clubs/discos in Cali, is this so? What about merengue, cumbia or some other type of music? There's a probably a crowd & club for specific type of music.

Second, are jeans and/or khakis (ala banana republic) ok to wear? or should jeans be the preferred dress code? How about dressy slacks & nice button-down long-sleeves?
