Dakota, have you tried tamales Tolimenses? Riquisimos and it is easier to get the recipe for those... Tinto, in Bogotá we do that not only with chocolate but also with tinto and it doesn't taste very good either way...

I think "mochilas" are more popular than carrieles...I've only seen carieles on paisas, but mochilas I've seen everywhere specially on Bogotanos que se creen Hippies...anyway, they're just as ugly.

Aztec I recently finished Delirium by Laura Restrepo and it is amazing, one of the best books I have read in a while...It describes colombian society at its best, and that might be the reason why only colombians seem to enjoy this book...give it a chance.

Is This Girl Serious??? ...is she serious??? I mean, how can she come to this forum and ask to "Please don't insult Colombianas and say we are dangerous" after saying that colombianas are with gringos only for their money???
Let see, you say that you only give them your BODY for ECONOMIC REASONS, meaning MONEY then, what do you think that makes you??? In Colombia we know them as Fufurufas, esas que lo dan por plata...The only difference is that they actually recognize what they're doing...Man some Colombianas are ridiculous!!! y nos hacen quedar mal al resto!

Por Favor !!! La Vendedora de Rosas, La Virgen de los Sicarios, Maria Full of Grace and all of those movies are overrated...We don't need to see that "realidad colombiana" anymore, as we all know how it is already! I recommend "Golpe de Estadio" very good one, "La Pena Maxima" is hilarious you'll laugh your butt off. "La Gente de la Universal" or "La Estrategia del Caracol" are a little old but worth seeing. There's a lot more to Colombia on movies than just coca, sicarios, pobreza and mulas.

Estoy de acuerdo Colombianman... asi somos los colombianos y por eso nos identificamos, a demas que pereza llamar a alguna parte y que le conteste una persona bien amargada que le dan ganas a uno hasta de colgar el telefono...Malo si somos amables y peor si no lo somos!!!
