Hi Adrienne, where in Bucaramanga did you have the lasik done? I am planning to visit next year and I'm thinking of having it done. How much was it if you don't mind me asking?

Thanks

Luis

Adrienne,
She has legal status (Permenant Residency) that was just renewed last year that I personally saw with my own eyes. She was told by a friend of her mother who works for INS in Miami to not get married because it would alert immigration and her current charges would show up and open a can of worms that we should try to avoid at all costs untill some time has passed and some of the charges come off of her record after 1 year as long as there are no more similar offenses.
This is the only advice that we have that we think is the most reliable since the source it came from works for INS.
If you have any ideas please let me know.
Thanks.

Interesting posts on the lost luggage thread. Ironically my AA lost bag/wine theft fiasco happened on the way to Bucaramanga last New Years. Never made it there to try those restaurant recommendations you gave!

Curious what you used to do at DFW Airport?

hi Adrienne! Just had a question, what made you choose Bucaramanga to live in over some of the bigger cities like Medellin or Bogota? Are you teaching English? I'm going down to Colombia around Jan/Feb to live for a couple of months, and I think Medellin is emerging as the best choice for me, but I've also heard great things about smaller towns like Manizales and Bucaramanga. What do you think? I will be looking for an English teaching position, as I will be TEFL certified by then.
Hope you're having fun!
