A close personal friend of mine went to do some things in a prison in Kazakhstan and its unreal the way they treat their prisoners. Sometimes it takes just one person from a certain country for us to form a negative image. I have my prejudices too, but they are not directed against USA or Israel or anything I've been accused of.

well simon... lots of fruit flavoured wines here... I like to throw them in the freezer and make slushies out of them!!! haha. ;)

One of my favs right now is this Italian Pinot Grigio, really good summer wine. We have this really interesting blend at a local estate winery. It's called black cab. It's a blend of baco noir and cab. Awesome for bbq steaks!

BG, local winery? you mean Canada? If yes, where? I have heard of really good ice wines in BC, but not familiar with other canadian wines.

Ahhhhh no you'll get the best ice wines from the Niagara Region (IMO). The wines in the area have really come a long way over the past 10 years or so. If you're ever in Toronto or Niagara it's really worth it to spend some time checking out some of the little estate wineries.
